I hate to be negative but..... you've said that the applicant must have a shit load of weird qualifications and contacts that they've probably spent a lifetime developing, followed by "all roles will be voluntary"..... there's a shining example of the "skateboarding culture and integrity" that you want to maintain.

Australian Skateboarding Federation added an event.

The Australian Skateboarding Federation will sanction their first ASF Australian Championships of Street Skateboarding on the 28th of April 2018 in Bato Yard on the Central Coast of NSW with a purse of $12,000.

This event is proudly Supported By Central Coast Council and presented by APM Youth Employment Services and in association with media sponsors SeaFM and partners The Entrance Leagues Club and Toowoon Bay Holiday Park.

The ASF Australian Championship is a culmination of sixteen pre-qualifier events run in the past year by ASF Affiliates in Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania, Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia with a total prize purse of $46,500.

The event will be split into Open Mens, Open Womens, 16 and Under and 12 and Under, with a total of 74 skateboarders vying for the inaugural ASF Australian Street Skateboarding titles.

For skaters that are not yet qualified there will be a last chance qualifier on the 27th April at Bato Yard at 10am where at least three riders will qualify through (each time a pre qualified skater declines their spot in the Championship event an extra spot will be given through the Last Chance Qualifier).

The qualifier events are run as a collaboration between Australian Skatepark Community Initiative, Shredability, Catalyst, She Shreds, Truck Stop, Bato Yard and Soggy Bones.

The ASF joins independent event organisers under an all inclusive umbrella and ranking system, and sanctions Australian Championship Events in the skateboarding disciplines of Park/Bowl, Vert, and Street.

Riders will get points to their Australian Skateboarding Federation National Ranking, as well as points to the Boardr Ranking.

The 2018 ASF Sanctioned Championships will be run under the King Of Concrete Banner by Renton Millar and Shredability.

The Australian Skateboarding Federation invites all independent Contest Organisers to get their events sanctioned for the 2019 series.

Updates will be posted on the Facebook Event Page for the ASF Australian Championships of Street Skateboarding.
